Well when you dont “need” to take the blow, seems a tad stupid to stand there and take it. Plus she seems a bit more intelligent lately. Compare her back to when we first met her.
Like Entercoven says, although I’d say that rather than being more intelligent, she’s simply calmer these days: no split personality, less random violence. She was always pretty smart, but her desire for vengeance got in the way of her logic. Also, Chelsea might enjoy making this chick who thinks she’s “all that” look like a total idiot.
On an entirely different note, I must say that the more I see of the “Little Red Riding-Hood from Hell” look, the more I like it. It suits her perfectly: a throwback to her days as the talk of the town (looks-wise) and her present state of genocidal madness.
Ostavaites’ nazad? Oh man, and I already thought there would be good russian language here. Why not “otoydi(te) nazad” or “Stoy(te) pozadi”? (-te is an ending used to talk with respect).
Still, nice strip. Those pre-violence strips are always nice.

Re Ennui: wooden dildos. Splintery. Ouch.
Not necessarily. Properly sanded, polished and waxed, wood can be as smooth as marble. Still wouldn’t recommend it though, you could be trading splinters in interesting places for arsenic and wood polish oil poisoning.
Actually there are wooden dildos out there. I think that they use linseed oil to start with and, since they go somewhere with its own lubricant, they acquire a different sort of polish… If you catch my meaning.
