See? No slow down whatsoever, I’ve moved outta London and down to the sunny, sandy coasts of Margate, where it’s even stopped raining for a day or two. Now that the headquarters are large enough to house lots of merchandise, you’ll be seeing a lot of stuff like t-shirts, books and bandanas whisked your way!

Mutiny! Who’da thought it. One little headquarters massacre and they’ve all jumped ship. Or maybe it was a culmination of events? It’s documented that all the Little Sixes get from the Working Girls is food, drink, ladies and shelter, rather than any money. Satisfactory for a lady like Suka, I guess. But without a decidedly main character behind them, are the Sixes wandering to the slaughter?

Now we just gotta wake up Elgie and Chelsea and get them out of harm’s way!

Yeah, compared to when we first met her, Suka seems to have turned quite cutesy, especially around Alice. Alas, having offed one of her team without hesitation I can still see her scary mafioso side peeking through.

I can hear the Suka fans gritting their teeth, especially after her feeble attempt at placating in the fourth panel. Honestly though if I was letting a whole floor of my hotel only to find it covered in dead people, I’d probably be a lot angrier than Alice.

Is that their fuckin’ family crest or something? Chelsea had a sharp-tooth mask too (for a few moments, anyway), maybe they’re genetically enamoured with the design.

I got a lot of questions regarding how the indiegogo fundraiser works regarding when your contribution’s money gets dispersed. If you use Paypal, the money goes from you to me instantly, but if you use a credit/debit card it’ll leave your bank account at the end of the fundraiser in 50 or so days. So if you wanna get some goodies but you’re waiting for your paycheck, don’t worry ’cause it won’t go out of your account for ages!

I didn’t realise you guys liked wearing clothes so much! A lot of folks have asked about t-shirts of various flavours, so rest assured I’ll be making up some more designs after the fundraiser’s finished. Alas, the two on the fundraiser are limited edition, specifically FOR raisin’ enough cash for a massive print-run. If you want, I can put an option in the fundraiser for those of you that only want one of the Chelsea or Suka t-shirts? That might work.

The cool thing about Indiegogo is that it has an option so that, should we not reach our $8000 target, it’ll take the payments from everyone that pledged and I’ll still be able to send them the goods they paid for. It’s different (and in my opinion, better) than Kickstarter’s “all or nothing” approach, ’cause it means if it doesn’t reach the goal, the only person disappointed at the end of the fundraiser will be me, hehe. Also, I ditched the idea of postcards in favour of other stuff, seein’ as it’s a lot of aggro for somethin’ not a lot of people would clamour over.

Hey guys, important news! I’m gonna put the chapter 2 book up for preorder through indiegogo, which is one of them fundraiser things like Kickstarter. Main reason for this is that self-shipping the books is much cheaper than the current method at a much higher quality , so chapter 2 will only cost £10 / $15! Plus it means I get to sign and draw in the books, too, like a proper cartoonist!

I’m also gonna have little extras in there for those of you looking to earn a little extra bang for your buck, like “Wish You Were Here” postcards and fundraiser-specific Chelsea and Suka t-shirts, as well as original artwork drawn with copic markers for the highest tiers.

The total amount I’ll be looking to raise is $8000, which is about 40 cents per reader! So it’s an easy goal, and as added incentive the shipping involved will be cheaper for people that donate to the fundraiser.

The book’s already done, and I’m designing postcards and t-shirts right now, so you guys won’t have to wait a lifetime to cash in. I’ll show you guys the designs before the fundraiser starts so you get an idea of what you’ll be getting.

I don’t know if I ever explained during Alice’s sunbathing scene in chapter 2 that during that specific time period it was becoming fashionable for those with a bit of bank to have somewhat of a tan. Yeah, well old money doesn’t give a shit about what the middle classes consider fashionable, hehe.

I love these guys! Comparing the lusty goings on of Alice and Suka, and the battle-burdened romance of Angus and Bonnie, we’ve completed the set with a cute old couple. The various forms of love ‘n’ lust make a nice, glaring contrast to whatever the hell Elgie and Chelsea get up to.

Juxtaposition! My favourite flavour.

I have it down in the docket that Chelsea’s dad should be depicted as “Handsome in a John Goodman-y way” and also “Swarthy”. Whether or not I’ve succeeded is up to you lady readers in the audience.

Needless to say, I love Manfred already.

Working Girls 3 is finally on sale! Folks have been wondering when the sequel was due, and here it is! There’s also three bits of bonus work in there that I submitted to the various communities I try to get in good with. Check the previews below!

Well that’s a little intriguing, Suka wearing the Working Girls highest rank pendant.  Hopefully it has some story element to it!

Anyway, here’s a few comics you should check out!

2 Guys and Guy: Another short form comic starring the antics of two fellas and a lass named Guy. It’s not as story-based as your bog standard sitcom comic, so there’s a fair and fun amount of slapstick and mild violence to it, which is right up my alley! Highly recommended for it’s visual style, too!

Walking on Broken Glass: A modern-fantasy relationship comic, with beautiful greyscale art and a perfect pace and writing for the subject. There are many pages that take advantage of the medium so it’s a very entertaining read, and there’s a healthy archive to delve into!

Heart Shaped Skull: Another greyscale comic with cool flecks of colour in the later pages and fun, dark overtones! I love the art style, it’s one where you can feel the influences seeping through but it still has a very unique style all of it’s own, which is my personal favourite thing to look for when it comes to art. He also does digitally downloadable comics like me, which you can grab in his store.

Delilah Dirk and the Turkish Lieutenant: Another one of those comics I look to for artistic and storytelling inspiration, because it’s beautiful to look at and awesome to read. Very difficult to give a synopsis of it, because when you click the link you’ll see that it’s gorgeous enough to speak for itself.

Hope today’s selection of other awesome comics makes up for the content of today’s update! Chapter three starts off with some fun and intrigue, so don’t lose faith with the current slower pace!
